Do playing wii games online affect download limits?

I have recenly purchased Mario kart wii and i will be getting broadband soon, It will have a 2GB per month limit. People have told me that playing games online even on the wii will eat through this limit, is this true?Do playing wii games online affect download limits?
Well you need to get your wii modded with a mod-chip, then you can play burned and downloaded wii games. No it won't affect the speed and no limitations at all!



1. Download ISO Files.

2. Burn them into DVD Disks by driver and some software.

3. Play on your Wii. But wii must be modded with a mod-chip.

I do not believe this is true. The only way that this could possibly be true is if you needed memory for going on the internet because going on the internet and playing wii games online are pretty much the same thing.
