Is playing online games haram?

i just started playing this game online and it contains no nudity nothing its like a mario game except its in stick forms and its an adventure where he has to collect this swirly things and jump on the big spiders to kill them and jumping on the wall and running etc i as wondering if it was harm. it doesn't stop me from praying on time or nothing.Is playing online games haram?
As a General opinion i can say there is no problems to play any online games.
But avoid games , that promote Violent and sex

Example some Version of GTA wise city
Must suck to be a muslim, all I see on here is panic about the most mundane things
