Okay lets just say this, I have a wii, I have a wii remote, I have a wii wheel, and I have Mario Kart Wii the game. What do I need to get connected to online Mario Kart Wii? Please be very specific, like if I need to plug something in to something else, where? People have said I need some kind of device that's around 60 dollars? IF so, where do I get it?How can I play Mario kart wii online?
If you have a wireless router and an internet connection to a computer in your household, you should be fine. On the Wii menu go into your Wii settings and choose internet connection. Follow the instructions and your Wii will do the rest!
If you don't have a wireless router, but do have a wired internet connection to your computer, this is what to do. Go on to amazon.com and purchase a Nintendo USB Wi-Fi Connector. Once you have it, place the Installation disc in your computer and follow the instructions on your monitor. Once installed, go into your Wii settings, internet connection, and follow the instructions from there!

you need to have a wireless connection. your wii can automatically pickup wireless internet but, you need to tell it which source to connect to. You can do this by going to the wii settings... after you get this all set up you can play online!
