How do people cheat online on Wii Super Mario Kart?

I was just playing this game online, and there were three, possibly four cheaters. Which is unusual because I'm only used to have to dealing with one but I'm just tired of it. I want to know how to do the same s%#@ they do, so that next time, I can actually have a chance of winning. It sucks when your 8000, and because of them, your down to 7300. You want to know how? They use an exploit in the wii's code to crash the wii when they try loading a crafted file in an SD card onto the wii. After that, they install a channel called: "The Homebrew Channel". After that, they get their SD cards and fill it with apps. Then they get a certain app called "Ocarina" which lets them use Action-replay like codes when booting up a game from the DVD drive of the wii. And they also have the cheat codes list under a folder in the SD card, saved as a .gct file. So when the game loads, it loads the cheats as well. So when they go online, they hack as they please. However you can get banned from the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection if you are caught, but hackers always find a workaround.

well i hate to say it but do it. its the only way to go against it and balance it out of between wining and losing. but chances are you will get banned. so try it if not then just get out of the race while you can and by then you points will be safe. trust me i found a couple as well but i REALLY not want to cheat at all. im a 9500 race rating even though that was all that hard work i had to do and reaching almost to 9999 and keep it right there and never to race again. good luck
those people are using WiiRD txt codes loaded via hbc [homebrew channel] apps like ocrina...
You need to find a way around a special hardware in order to hack online, and you don't need to win. You could have to 35001 VR hack (like Nin*ARM1) And when you lose, you go down to 9999 VR, then when the next race starts, you're back up to 35001 VR or something. People who don't hack online hate hackers that beat up everyone, and then win. Hackers arn't like that. They beat up everyone, but allows everyone to beat them to the finish line.
