The best way is to make a level in say notepad (a file descibing it) and send it to them. You could also make an image in paint showing the level. I think SMO uses C++ or Java, which is 100% in code. There is not level design. only code. If you want to make games, i suggest Game maker at yoyogames.com

What program can I use to make maps for 2D games?
I'm playing Super Mario Online, an MMORPG. They could use help with making maps, being shorthanded, and I'd like to help. I just need to get a program to map with, and if possible, a small tutorial on mapping for a game like Super Mario Online.
